Bagnone, the faity tale town of Lunigiana<\/em>, is a medieval village on the slopes of the Appennines and crossed by numerous historical paths such as the Via Francigena, the Via Del Volto Santo, and the Via del Sale, which connected central Italy with the Po Valley. The ancient streets that led to Bagnone have made it a weekly and seasonal market village. The castle built in the fourteenth century by the Malaspina family, passed to the Fiorentines and the Noceti Counts who are still the owners of the manor.<\/p>\n In the 2024 tourist season, a rich calendar of hiking and e-bike excursions, guided tours of the village and castle gardens, tastings on local farms is coming.
