Discovering the authentic flavours and traditions of Lunigiana with a cooking class

Cooking class and degustation for an unmissable gastronomic and local experience in which to discover and taste the traditional Lunigiana dishes.

Guided tour

A morning dedicated to a cooking class for the preparation and taste of typical Lunigiana recipes, in a countryside farmhouse.
With the help of an english speaking guide, you will immerse yourself in this journey into the traditional cuisine of the Lunigiana among the anecdotes, stories and ingredients of a unique land.

You will have the opportunity to cook with a local chef in a beautiful family-run Agriturismo. You’ll feel like you’re cooking at home

After the harvesting of the field herbs, there will be the opportunity to get involved and prepare, with the help of professionals, delicious dishes including the Torta d’Erbi Lunigianese and Testaroli, an ancient Lunigiana first dish, made from a simple batter of water, flour and salt, testaroli has a unique preparation process and texture. The batter is traditionally cooked in a cast-iron pan or “testo” (from which it gets its name), resulting in thin, soft sheets.

It’s a perfect example of cucina povera (peasant cooking), as it uses minimal ingredients yet produces a rich, filling dish.

A unique opportunity to prepare, cook and discover all the secrets of Lunigiana’s culinary tradition.
