Live the adventure with this canyoning experience in the Bagnone Valley.

Join us for an adventurous river trek along the Bagnone river in the Parco Nazionale dell’Appennino Tosco Emiliano, in Lunigiana – Tuscany

The itinerary runs through the lush green valleys of the Bagnone and its streams. We are in Lunigiana, on the Tuscan side of the Appennino Tosco Emiliano National Park.

The Bagnone River Trekking is not a canyoning or canyoning activity, but a river trek. Accompanied by Sigeric’s Environmental Hiking Guides, experts in Tourism in Lunigiana, we will explore this splendid torrent, among small gorges, waterfalls and small lakes.

The only requirement is to know how to swim. The activity is also suitable for those with no river experience and for children from 10 years of age.

After meeting our guides at our office – Centro Didattico Sorano in Filattiera, we will move to the Bagnone Valley to begin the excursion, where the Bagnone river and its streams flow. We will walk and swim along the torrent between the villages of Jera and Treschietto, where the ancient inhabitants of Lunigiana left their traces: in fact, one of the most fascinating Stele Statues of Lunigiana was found here. And after the trek, for those who wish, it is possible to taste some typical products of this valley where savory pies, vegetables and traditional flours are still produced.
